My journey through life has been one of transformation and service. As a former firefighter, I was shown a different side to life. The intensity of the job fueled my passion for physical awareness and wellness. Due to unfortunate injuries, life pushed me to explore new avenues. Transitioning from a career of extinguishing fires to igniting personal transformations, I found my calling as a personal trainer, holistic lifestyle coach, and massage therapist.
My experiences in the fire service taught me the importance of strength, ownership, and accountability, values I now impart to my clients. Through rigorous and individualized training programs, I help individuals discover their inner power and achieve fitness milestones they never thought possible. But my journey didn’t stop there. Intrigued by the healing potential of touch and corrective exercise, I delved into the art of massage therapy and holistic lifestyle coaching, through the CHEK Institute, to further aid in the recovery and well-being of others.
As an ex-firefighter turned wellness professional, I bring a unique perspective to my practice. I understand the physical and mental challenges that life can throw our way, and I use that insight to guide my clients towards healthier, happier lives.
ANGEL FAKAS, As a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Performance Enhancement Specialist, CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach, and a Club Volleyball Coach who has been involved in athletics and the fitness industry for many years, Angel Fakas is a valuable asset to ZPA. Throughout her years of training, she found her purpose in life was to help people become the healthiest, strongest, and best version of themselves. Seeing clients’ lives change to where they are no longer suffering or in pain and redefining the odds of their circumstances is truly the most rewarding for her. Angel loves her job and hopes to continue this path for the rest of her life.
As a professional, my purpose is not to simply to show people how to live, what to eat, and what exercises to do, but to give them the resources and ability to make a change and live a vibrant life, because only when a habit becomes a part of who you are, will it last.
As a strength and conditioning coach, holistic lifestyle coach, and biohacker, I help people create long-lasting habits from the inside out.
As a NASM Certified personal trainer with 6 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, I work with people from all walks of life. From people with physical limitations seeking their birthright of exercising without pain, to athletes of an elite caliber looking to take their performance beyond conventional standards, I specialize in Circular Rotation training with the Steel Mace/Steel Club, Athletic Strength and Conditioning, Muscle Building, Weightloss and Corrective Exercise.
It is my calling to help the open-minded and motivated reach their fullest potential and awaken their inner warrior by helping to restore the ability to live with optimal health
Michelle is a School Psychologist by day and a Crossfit coach by night. She grew up on the soccer field and later found solace in the gym by pulling and pushing heavy weights.
By chance, she found ZPA and fell in love with the cross-train programming, lifts, metabolic conditioning, gymnastics, and the community/family atmosphere. Michelle loves to challenge her mind and body by participating in Spartan races, the Crossfit Open, hiking on the weekends, yoga, lazy beach days, and keeping up with her four children.
She has a passion for data and research, kindness, learning, and education, nutrition, mental health, foundational and Olympic lifts, acts of service, and growth mindsets.
A bad ass firefighter, and bad ass cross-fit coach!
